  • Event

Join us to celebrate the opening of The Gatherers, a major exhibition of international artists grappling with global waste and excess. In conjunction with the opening, artist Selma Selman premieres Motherboards, a high-powered performance in which gold is extracted from scrapped computer parts, accompanied by live electronic music.

The day also marks the opening of new exhibitions by Sandra Poulson and a Homeroom presentation by Visual AIDS featuring selections from the archives of Heather Edney and Richard Berkowitz. Meet the artists, attend a dynamic performance, see a new documentary, join family activities, and experience a community storytelling workshop. This full day of free activities welcomes audiences of all ages to learn, celebrate, and create.
