Explore the legacy of Niki de Saint Phalle—the subject of a new retrospective at MoMA PS1—in this virtual conversation with artist Raúl de Nieves, whose riotously colorful sculptures and installations carry on the spirit of Saint Phalle’s groundbreaking work. With curator Ruba Katrib, de Nieves will reflect on his childhood encounters with Saint Phalle’s public works, her impact on his practice, and his current installation in the PS1 Courtyard.

To see Saint Phalle’s and de Nieves’s work in person, take advantage of extended evening hours at MoMA PS1 on August 5 and 6, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Reserve timed tickets in advance.
