Annual Fund
Since its inception, MoMA PS1 has enriched and expanded the contemporary art landscape by celebrating experimental practices, fueling artistic production, and championing under-recognized voices. Unlike other museums, where exhibitions are scheduled years in advance, PS1 maintains a flexible calendar. While this affords PS1 the freedom to present “of-the-moment” work, planning time is significantly shorter—often no more than three to six months. The Annual Exhibition Fund was created to help ensure the success of this vibrant program of exhibitions within a shortened time frame by providing the unrestricted financial infrastructure that enables creativity to flourish.
Exhibition Fund
At MoMA PS1, exhibitions expand beyond the galleries. They cascade through the building, come to life in the Courtyard, and permeate ideas throughout Queens and New York City. Supporting MoMA PS1’s Exhibition Fund enables artists to challenge our expectations of contemporary art and push the boundaries of how we interact with it, both within PS1’s traditional gallery spaces and throughout the city.
Endowment Fund
Created by artists, MoMA PS1 is a place propelled by the energy and experimentation of creative practice. The Museum’s Endowment Fund provides vital support to sustain this legacy and develop an evolving, artist-centered vision for generations to come.
