Warm Up 2013
MoMA PS1 presents Warm Up 2013, beginning June 29 and taking place every Saturday this summer through September 7. Now celebrating its 16th year, the museum's highly anticipated outdoor music series will continue its tradition of introducing audiences to the best in experimental live music, sound, and DJs—both local and international—across a range of genres. Warm Up supports both established and emerging artists by creating a platform that allows for experimentation and provides a space for collaboration, new material, and side-projects. The annual series is held in MoMA PS1's courtyard, which this year will feature a temporary urban landscape by CODA called Party Wall, the winning design of the 14th annual Young Architects Program.
This year, Warm Up will be once again conceived by a curatorial committee, selected by the museum to represent a wide spectrum of expertise in music, sound, and the performing arts.
Selected by MoMA PS1 Director Klaus Biesenbach and organized by MoMA PS1 Assistant Curator Eliza Ryan, the Warm Up 2013 committee includes: Dean Bein, Head of True Panther Sounds; Kris Chen, Head of XL Recordings; Jonathan Galkin, Co-Founder of DFA Records; Brandon Stosuy, Editor for Pitchfork; Matt Werth, Head of RVNG Intl; and Imogene Strauss, as MoMA PS1 Bookings and Stage Manager.

ADMISSION TO WARM UP
HOURS: 12–9 PM, Saturdays between July 7—September 8, 2012
Admission to Warm Up $15 for ALL adults, except MoMA members and/or Long Island City Residents with proof of residency(11101-11106, 11109), who each receive one free ticket. Admission to Warm Up includes access to all exhibitions and is mandatory for entry into MoMA PS1.
Tickets may be purchased online until 12 PM, day of each event. After which, tickets must be purchased at the door (cash only; limited availability; first come, first served) starting at 12 PM day-of event.
Become a MoMA Member for free entry to Warm Up and skip the general admission line.
PLEASE BE ADVISED:
As Warm Up is a special event, regular admission policies do not apply. The following categories do not receive free admission to Warm Up: MoMA Corporate Members, MoMA admission ticket holders, MoMA Annual Pass holders, other museum staff & members of the press who have not been authorized in advance.
Admission is cash only.
Entry and re-entry are not permitted after 8:40 PM.
Tickets purchased at the door are valid for that day only.
Outside food and alcohol are not permitted.
There are no Group Visits or Tours during Warm Up Saturdays.
Warm Up takes place rain or shine.

DIRECTIONS
MoMA PS1 is located at 22-25 Jackson Avenue at 46th Avenue in Long Island City, Queens, across the Queensboro Bridge from midtown Manhattan. It is easily accessible by bus and subway. Traveling by subway, visitors should take either the E or M to Court Square–23 Street; the 7 to 45 Road–Courthouse Square; or the G to Court Square or 21 Street–Van Alst.Visitors may also take the Q67 bus to Jackson and 46th Avenues or the B62 to 46th Avenue.
