B-Boy Workshop / 1:00–4:00 PM
with 5Pointz Aerosol Art Center 
Learn essential B-Boy skills with Long Island City's 5Pointz Aerosol Art Center! 5Pointz staff and special guest Lady Pink will teach you everything you need to know!

The Waterfront Comes to the Courtyard / 1:00–4:00 PM 
with Green Shores NYC and the Long Island City Community Boathouse (LICCB)!
Green Shores NYC presents the Waterfront Vision Plan for Western Queens and wants to know what your hopes and dreams are for the future of our waterfront with the RIVER OF WISHES arts and crafts project and WATERFRONT DREAMS video project.

MoMA PS1 Artists Read to Kids / 1:00–2:30 PM
with The Queens Library
Come listen to artists and curators from PS1 read their favorite childrens’ books, and hear how these books influenced their work. Come to the event and you can also sign up for a library card, sign up to be a summer reader, and learn about free programs and services offered at Queens Library.

Fix-A-Flat / 1:00–4:00 PM
with Recycle-A-Bicycle
In this fun and interactive workshop, teens and adults will learn how to fix a flat tire on their bicycle. The session will be led by a bike tech from Recycle-A-Bicycle. All necessary tools and supplies for the program will be provided. All are welcome; no previous experience necessary.

5Pointz Aerosol Art Center, Inc. is an outdoor art exhibit space in Long Island City, New York, considered to be the world's premiere "graffiti Mecca," where aerosol artists from around the globe paint colorful pieces on the walls of a 200,000-square-foot factory building. 

Build It Green! NYC, is New York City's only non-profit retail outlet for salvaged and surplus building materials. Build it Green! NYC's warehouse has everything from panel doors to high end refrigerators and shutters to movie props. Their mission is to keep these materials out of the landfill, while offering deep discounts on their resale. 

Green Shores NYC is a coalition of individuals, community groups and local business who have joined together to improve and promote the waterfront parks and shoreline in Astoria and Long Island City. 

Recycle-A-Bicycle is a community based bike shop and 501(c)3 non-profit organization that utilizes the bicycle as a resource to foster youth development, environmental education, community outreach, and healthy living. 

Holding Pattern is a temporary installation in MoMA PS1's courtyard by Interboro Partners. It is the winning submission to MoMA PS1's 2011 Young Architects Program.
