Artist's Statement

Things that inspire/drive me to make the work I do would include cartoons, sci-fi, color, plastic techno stuff, product design, tools, toys, pieces or parts of things which begin to function abstractly when divorced from their original purpose, automotive stuff, spray paint, cardboard, clay and Play Doh. I’ve always been fascinated with all of that, and I believe it comes through in my work. When not engaged reinterpreting the above, I work commercially making advertising props (like giant aspirin tablets) and product prototypes (mostly packaging), which further inform my aesthetic.
