Walford Williams
In the face of adversity I approach life with an unyielding optimism. My use of color and composition is rooted in the peacefulness of my Caribbean tradition.
Within the context of my serene constructed environments, I bathe my work with the warmth of light and the movements of freedom. For me, art is a combination of distraction and meditation. My paintings and sculptures celebrate that paradise we often glimpse but rarely see.
