Artist's Statement

An abstract concept - ATTITUDE - a polyphonic composition derived from layers, contrast, lines, and forms from my emotional motif. The charcoal is the instrument that creates the theme. Gradually building up into a complex form having somewhat distinct divisions or stages of development and a marked climax at the end. The musical forms are nothing more than fragments of a unique and complete whole. Every form existing in relation to the potential expression and development of the generative emotional motif, the 'Linescape'. by transforming sounds into visually physical form. These visual montages forge a web of musical influences ranging classical, blues, funk, rock, and hip-hop.

“I use the charcoal as a guitar pick to create the way I visualize the sounds of my favorite guitar riffs and psychedelic reverb!”
