Artist's Statement
I work conceptually with film, video, photography and sound installations.
Drawing inspiration from a number of contemporary theories about human identity and its inner changes (such as Rudolf Kassner, Jacques Lacan, Zygmunt Bauman, Erik Ericsson and Jean-Luc Nancy), my research explores the relation between individual and collective memory as well as the changes induced by social relationships in the process of identity formation.

Born in 1978 in Italy, Orlando lives between Milano and New York.
His video and film works has been exhibited in several solo and group shows & film festivals all around the world.
He's currently in residence at ISCP in Brooklyn.
