TOM MATT
My art is representational with an emphasis on cityscapes of both NY and Paris, that includes portraiture. The mediums I use are pastel, carbon pencil, and oil paint. Each one allows for a unique and varying expression in style, concept and technique. I work primarily on-site and from-life to establish a foundation for each piece of art, which allows me to embrace and incorporate the ambiance and energy of the city and subject. I have been committed to my work full-time for the past 10 years. I'm hard working and proactive in executing all of my projects and commissioned work.
