The relationship between pattern and color is an integral aspect of my practice. I observe the way that repetitive designs become incorporated in to the framework of daily life; usually this means a lot of time thinking about found patterns in tropical plants, scarf designs and close up photograph clip art. It's interesting the way that design details take on a heightened significance.
