Artist's Statement
Bio/Resume
I am largely self taught. I started by apprenticing under sculptor Peter Taylor in Hobart, Tasmania. Then I painted at ASL and copied paintings at the MET. I worked for ten years as a landscape architect, mainly planting rooftop gardens in NYC. I have a greenhouse filled with tropical plants which I photograph, and I choose my subjects just from those who are in my everyday life. I just paint for the love of it.
