In my latest series, "Polygamists and Panderers: Mormon Church Presidents", I take a satirical look at the Presidency of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints through contemporary portraiture. Though revered as priests and visionaries by their followers, the holy men of the LDS Church have a paradoxical history of questionable morals, violence and convenient revelations.

About the artist
Growing up in Utah was a little like living under the Taliban: the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (or Mormons as they're more commonly known) controls everything in Utah from the booze you drink and the films you watch to the education you receive. Church and state are hardly separate. After living in New York for over 5 years, I finally feel comfortable talking about the LDS Church's eccentricities, atrocities and inconsistencies in a frank manner through contemporary portraiture.
