Sarah Hall
With my paintings I present fractured images of the human body that preclude hierarchy of parts, gender, race or sexuality. By obscuring identity I intend to emphasize the universal through our common architecture, our bones.
Sarah Hall is a Toronto born, New York based artist-painter/sculptor. She studied at the University of Toronto, the Ontario College of Art & Design in Toronto, and the New York Academy of Art in New York City where she received an MFA. Hall has been exhibiting since 2001 in numerous solo and juried group shows in Toronto, Belgrade and New York and is represented by the Drabinsky Gallery in Toronto.
