saki kishimoto
I am engaged in surveying the underlying potentials of the literal image, motive and concept and observing how they assimilate themselves to the context of our "reality" as a visual language. In my work I employ specific images, which I have observed both outwardly and inwardly. I move literal images, motives and concepts toward abstraction until they reach a state of finality, yet retain an openness to other possibilities. I conclude the process when this final state and openness counterpoise each other into a complete work
