Artist's Statement
I make wall-mounted collages made of found, colored cardboard. Referencing architecture, landscape and the interplay of urban & natural environments, these works are sculptural in form, coming off the wall in various layers suggestive of odd terrains, infrastructures and skylines.
I am interested in how cardboard, a simple, abundant and inherently impermanent material, can be structured into quiet surfaces that convey both formation and dilapidation simultaneously.
