Artist's Statement
Nostalgia is a comparative act: we compare ourselves and our world to the one passed or lost.
Mine is a hybrid practice that involves “straight” large format photography as well as other more experiemental photographic methods in an exploration of the digitization of the medium. My subject matter is most often a turning away from today's visual culture and instead focuses on various domestic, psychic and historic vistas.
