Pyeunghun Baik
I make film and video by the inspiration of nature's movement, color, sound and mostly its existence.
I take a abstract photography by analyzing the connection between each objects.
Most importantly, maybe I want to communicate with light and shadow and objects.
Pyeunghun Baik is a Korea born and NY based filmmaker and visual artist. He moved to NYC in 2002 and studied visual art in Brooklyn College and received MFA in television production in Brooklyn College. As a filmmaker, he directed many short movies and videos. His filmmaking style is special because he uses other genre of art (poetry, dance, experimental sound, photography, video installation) as a tool for storytelling.
