Peter Brock
At present my work centers on an exploration of pictorial space within mundane or common surfaces. I find an inward depth in the speckled tones of the sidewalk. The temporary but transformative effect of water on porous material provides a gentler voice for my active hands. I am also eager to allow shadow, dust and gravel to serve as painterly mediums.
