Artist's Statement

I work out of the Constructivist Revolution through the cinematic pop-culture into the fleeting present using strong imagery and calligraphic language.


Peter Bardazzi

Peter Bardazzi is an artist whose paintings, drawings and videos have been exhibited internationally including at the Whitney Museum of American Art, Indianapolis Museum of Art, the Museum of Modern Art, the Basel Art Fair, the Brooklyn Museum of Art, the Reina Sofia Art Center, Spain and most recently at the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa, Japan. His work can be found in many public collections, including the Museum of Modern Art, The Neuberger Museum of Art, The Corcoran Gallery of Art, The Library of Congress, The Baltimore Museum of Art, JP Morgan Chase, and The Smithsonian Institute of American Art. Mr. Bardazzi received a BFA in Painting from Pratt Institute and MFA from Yale University majoring visual art minoring in cinema studies. He is now designing a major Integrated Media Center at New York University.
