Olive Ayhens
My work is much involved with my love of the paint itself--with layering it, with exploring color relationships, building textures, etc. all this is striving for a sensual visual beauty. I have fun with personification as well as improbabilities of scale. My work is heavily influenced by nature and natural and human made environments. The work is a reflection of my lifes journey and the uniqueness of each environment in which I find myself. I work in conneted series of painting, from extreme interiors to nature/architecture, aesthetics of pollution and on & on.
