Upon my arrival to New York, I felt an overwhelming sudden shift in energy, a powerful wave of movement that travels and breaks the solidity of the city’s geometric structure. That is, a force of energy that stirs up an internal battle of colorful emotions that take over me.
In my latest series of artwork “Harmony”, I turn to my canvas to put all my emotions into a few words. I write them using only two colors and shapes, in an attempt to express everything I feel in absolute simplicity. Using my bare hands, I come in direct contact with the canvas, were I am able to transfer my emotions and my energy until I can achieve perfect harmony.
