Artist's Statement
Bio/Resume
Milton Stevenson holds an MFA from the Rhode Island of Design and a BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute. He has received awards and commissions from curators and organizations including, Anne Ellegood, Richard Armstrong, the International Sculpture Center and the Kansas City Municipal Arts Council. He has had solo shows at venues including the Saint Mary's College, the Leedy-Voulkos Arts Center and the Kansas City Art Institute. In 2009 he founded Tompkins Projects, a contemporary art gallery showcasing compelling work by emerging and mid-career artists in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. http://www.tompkinsprojects.com http://www.miltonstevenson.com
