Artist's Statement
My work is inspired by banal man-made places. Using drawing, I ruminate over boring environments, from the inner sanctums of corporate offices to storage units in the wild, searching for an ambiguous beauty in these archetypes of modern life.
Bio/Resume
Michelle Marozik lives Brooklyn, NY. She received her BFA at the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, Maryland and a MFA from the Rosary College in Florence, Italy. Her work has been has shown in Europe and the United States and is in numerous private collections.
