Born: NYC, 1950
BA, SUNY Binghamton, 1972
I started painting in 1970, since 1980 I have been creating art full-time: More than half my life now. I am self-taught but had the good fortune to be mentored by Sy Boardman, 2nd generation NY School /Abstract Expressionist painter, from the time I started painting until his death in 2005. In 1974 I moved to Santa Barbara, CA; In 2006 I returned to where I first started painting, Binghamton, NY. I have been exhibiting and selling my work professionally since 1993. My main gallery is Japonesque, in San Francisco.
