It is my feeling that art brings to consciousness the deeper layers of our life experience. It can show us what is within ourselves that we may not have been consciously aware of before we do the work. It can transmit the hidden qualities of our existence and of our experience into communicable form, allowing us to extend our essential nature right out there in front of our noses, where we can see it, shape it, and share it with others.
