Artist's Statement
Communities are part of our everyday lives, in some way or another we are involved in multiple communities that all function differently. For the last few years I have been exploring how community functions and identity within certain communities and individuals lives. My work looks at these ideas by examining neighborhoods, routine acts, and memory using repetition and narratives.
