Artist's Statement
Jenna Westra employs the photographic process to produce image-as-object works, culled from her personal archive, found material, and traditional photographic supplies. Her interest lies within the possibility of the medium, presenting innate qualities of photo sensitive paper, light, and process as intervened upon by the hand .

She has exhibited widely since 2006, and is currently enrolled in the Hunter College MFA program.
