Artist's Statement

Perception:
The human mind experiences the world equally regardless that is made of atoms or pixels. We perceive any image first as if it were real and connect it to reality. Think of your experience watching the action in a movie. Since perception alters behavior or causes a response shows that images in digital media are real to us first and made unreal only through thought.

Communication/Perception:
When we communicate through computers, aspects of ourselves exist inside the exchange. This connectivity creates avatars: extensions of our Actual World personas. This transformation back and forth across the digital border is linked to perception thus shaping the world and us.

Digital/Communication/Perception:
Digital visual language begins with the pixel. The visual interface that is experienced through computers has only straight lines and flat planes. And is ultimately mathematical formula
