ISSART by Isis Samuels Swaby
My thoughts:
My art represents my dreams of bliss, and wonder of a land of love; it’s freeing to see my art embraced by other individuals. I love painting because it’s a way to free my fears from everyday life. My work is potentially has a sense warps of questions.
Broad strokes, and splashes of paint, and imaginary illusions are what some may describe, Isis Samuels Swaby’s paintings. Isis Samuels Swaby prefers to embellish her paintings with her signature mark ISSART. She was born with humble beginnings in a Maryland house in Prince George Maryland from two Rastafarian parents, a musician, and a marine biologist. She was raised between South Carolina, D.C., and New York City but most of childhood in New York City. She begun her make-believe paintings in high school, and ISSART emerged. She has been featured on Monkdogz Gallery Chelsea Art Review Online. She had four exhibits: Art & Juice in November 2008, Speaking Rhythms Multi-artists show in August 2009, and Touch and Feel My Walls 3-D 2 part series with Ashley Cimone . Currently, other projects in production are Phantasy I, and We are Half Way There.
