 The construction of each painting is rooted in the complicated perception of the painting's tangible presence, it's raw materials, coupled with the incorporeal quality of illuminating color. Similarly, the collage is built upon the delicate carving of folded magazine and newspaper images, creating a convoluted structure to support the spectral essence of the transformed violent images.
