Artist's Statement

In my work I use materials like found paper, vintage textbooks, and magazines, and I'm especially drawn to color, imagery and subject matter from the 1950’s, 60’s & 70’s. Concerned with the interaction of color and pattern and its relationship to movement, the materials I use are meticulously cut into oval shapes and deliberately arranged to create patterns that open up worlds of thoughts and associations.
