Artist's Statement
These new drawings are portraits of different of collections. I see each of these drawings as abstract inner portraits of the collector – each constructed with concrete objects. In a sense they are psychological representations of different needs, and how these needs become transferred onto objects, and ultimately transformed into obsessions.
