Bio/Resume

Francesco Masci is an Italian artist living in New York City, who makes technically astute canvases that reconcile real-life portraiture with the Iconographic proliferation of the Computer Age. He studied graphic design in Rome and Florence, has a former career of political cartoonist and has shown extensively in Italy. His solo Italian credits include an exhibition at the Cantieresanbernardo in Pisa (2006); and his group credits include New York's Francis Naumann Gallery's “The Damoiselles Revisited,” commemorating the 100-year anniversary of Picasso's Les Demoiselles d'Avignon (2007).
Born in Rome, he currently resides in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
