I work with color and geometric abstraction in various ways to excite the eye, depict light or create a sense of serenity. I use acrylics sometimes mixed one of more of the following: Gloss Gel Medium, Natural Sand Texture Gel, or Crystal Fine Glitter.
I live and work in Monmouth Beach, NJ, was born in Manhattan and then moved to Brooklyn. I hold a B.A. in Art History from Brooklyn College, and have worked as a Marketing Director, an artists’ representative, an art consultant and am now an artist. I have been painting for just over a year and participated in numerous group shows in 2009. Also in 2009, I was juried into the Art Alliance 23rd NJ Statewide Juried Exhibition by Beth Venn, the Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at the Newark Museum. In 2010, I was juried into the Monmouth Museum and MCAC 31st Annual Juried Art Exhibition by Maura Lynch, a Curatorial Assistant at the MoMA.
