My paintings and drawings derive from text; through stories and poems figures appear and create a new story, one that is made through my personal experiences and encounters. The figures, half grotesque half human, seek to form new life on the canvas. It is usually a pretty long painting process that is created by layers of evolution in the story.
My fascination is with the story itself and the life that is reflected through it.
