Artist's Statement

artist's purposes

TO UNCOVER THE MULTIPLICITY OF BEING AS IT APPEARS, AT TIMES EXPLOSIVELY, AT TIMES SERENELY...
TO CREATE A SPACE FOR THE INTERCOURSE OF LINES AND COLORS...
TO BRING TOGETHER SEPARATING AND TO SEPARATE BRINGING TOGETHER, DEMONSTRATING ALL ALONG THE ONENESS AND ITS DIFFUSION...
TO DECONSTRUCT WHAT IS COMMONLY ACCEPTED AS STRUCTURALLY BEAUTIFUL AND REORGANIZE IT THROUGH A -BEYOND THE GIVEN - AESTHETIC PRINCIPLE...
JUST TO MAKE SOMETHING THAT IT MIGHT BE (TO THE OTHERS) AESTHETICALLY PLEASING, HAVING APPLIED MY IDEAS AND INSPIRATION.

Bio/Resume

I am a new artist, who has created a new art during the last three years. I had an inspiration about the nature of art and I followed it. It gave me many an art work,in painting as well as mixed media, samples of which you;ll see here. I would call it a new art, because it is totally new and completely self taught art. I arrived there step by step theorizing on one side and applying practical artistic solutions on the other. Yes, I have studied past masters and various styles and schools, but only to see how the principles of aesthetics, that I had envisioned was applied. Although the results of my art is for others to judge I maintain that the syntheses of the abstract to the concrete and expressionism to the pre -classical line is a unique orientation for the regeneration of artistic method.
Exhibition: Fall 2011, Fall 2012 at the Federation of Greek Societies Art Program.
