Artist's Statement

The dismantling of existing intellectual disciplines has been going on for some time. Heidegger wrote in 1963 ‘The end of philosophy and the New Task for thnking’. Many thinkers and theorists have questioned the validity of keeping the old forms. Richard Rorty called for and predicted a new open-ended field where there would be no distinction between ‘philosophers’, literary writers, scientists, etc. The end result of this transformation would be freer thinking, more relevant ideas for our time.
