Crystal Z Campbell
Crystal Z Campbell uses sound, film, sculpture, photography & installation to explore the politics of witnessing. Campbell is a UCIRA grantee whose works have been supported and exhibited by Project Row Houses and the New Children's Museum of San Diego. Campbell's work has also been exhibited at Exit Art, Islip Art Museum, Fotofest Biennial and Lui Velasquez in Tijuana. Campbell is a 2003 graduate of the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture and former artist in residence at NES in Iceland and Vermont Studio Center. Campbell lives and works in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Brooklyn, New York.
Campbell is a 2010-2011 Van Lier Fellow in Studio Art at the Whitney Museum of American Art Independent Study Program.
