Artist's Statement

My work is about encroachment and encasement — in and of our bodies, our landscape, and our movement. My sculptural tactics engage scalar iterations of the body as an urban, architectural topography.Whether determining the space a body engages, or extracting the interstitial surfaces the body, I am interested in the way memory, emotion, and relationships inhabit our physical frame.
