Artist's Statement
My work develops from the gritty urban environment in which I reside. The intense need to record our current events drives me to employ materials and processes of mass production. My current work concerns itself with the limitations set by society and the boundaries or walls that are set in place when one does not consider all that has come before. The works consist of limited palettes and metaphorically mimic the problems of a suffocating society.
