Chia-Ling's works with temporality through multimedia installation in space where it is distinguished from the original environment. Her video recalls an ordinary moment in daily life that we are often too habitual to aware.
Her works reflect a daily moment transformed into artist’s wonderland. She works with digital imaging technologies such as a handy digital camera or a cellular phone to explore an ordinary event in life. She received her M. F. A. from Pratt Institute, New York, in 2001. She was a recipient of a 2010-11 BRIC Media Arts Fellowship and 2011 Myers Art Prize in New York.
