Artist's Statement
I collect thousands of snapshot photographs from the public domain and every image exchange known to google. I then group them together by remarkably like subject matter and collage them in ways [via video, print or installation] that tell stories about the power of photographic imagery in our snap happy, contemporary life styles.
Bio/Resume
Cassandra C. Jones lives and works in both Ojai. CA and Brooklyn, NY; however considers her laptop and wherever she can find a signal to be her main studio. Her work has shown in venues throughout America, Canada and Europe and is currently represented by Baer Ridgway in San Francisco, CA.
