My work explores the space of video installation through the use of large scale projections, creating immersive environments that trigger an experiential relationship between viewer and piece. It is and investigation of various aspects of vision, the desire of looking, and intimacy as the most powerful human connector, raising some of its beauties and contradictions.
I isolate and intensify small situations often zoomed to the image of the eye, bridging concrete and precise moments with the broader experience of our personal communication dynamics. The resulting image embodies a physical eye that beats, touches and relates intimately.
