Artist's Statement

I believe destiny always finds you. It may even give you a chance or two. What you can hope to be when that happens, is to be ready. Be ready to customize, improve and follow through. Because if you don’t find yourself in your destiny, you will be its victim.

The works you see here are part of the series entitled @HOME, which debuted at ZMart Gallery in my hometown. Metal, glass, rope, nails and color are all elements found on the wooden backgrounds. The inquisitive travels began 15 years ago, when I traced some of the first figurative representations in pen and ink . The works study both the personal and collective nature of human emotions, which identify us, and allow us to identify with others.
