Bryan Jones
Over the past few years, I have been interested in natural formations as a product of basic processes carried out over long periods of time. Inspired by these formations, I utilize similar processes using various materials to create objects which are then photographed for painting. These paintings create a dialogue between still life and landscape, as well as representational painting and abstract subject matter.
