Artist's Statement

With information moving so quickly and freely, we are becoming more information-dependent and empowered to transform the world. My practice takes account of this shift by exploring our experience in the digital age. My work transforms ideas and objects from digital to spatial to pictorial space, and back again. Based on this process, the work encounters a similar tension between the flat and dimensional, geometric and gestural and automated and human sensibility we are living through.
