My pictures investigate the relationship of invented characters to their immediate surroundings. They take from popular culture, current events, contemporary and past artists and most of all from my imagination. My mediums are ink, acrylic and latex paint. The images are drawn on loose paper and in sketchbooks, made into artist books and prints, constructed as dioramas or filmed using stop motion animation.
