Artist's Statement

Photography is a starting point of infinite possibilities. Since I am graduating Art College in 2003 I am questioning and exploring ideas of the picture plane, the image, and the materiality and physicality of the medium of photography. By doing this my work stretched to an interdisciplinary practice, which includes besides photography: -photo, -video and spatial installations, published artistbooks, take away ephemera, temporary and social in situ works, text, assemblage and performance.
My work is like a jamboree of 3 elements: the concept, the process of creation and the form in which the work finally finds its existence. I stir around all this elements as long as they merge in a perfect balance of ratio, poetry and mystery. I think my work is seductive while simultaneously critically deconstructing this seductiveness.
