Anne Russinof
In my paintings of the past few years I layered circles to create a kind of lattice pattern. Recently these shapes have loosened up to be more gestural, showing an open grid, almost like fabric. I have always been interested in combining an expressionist tendency with a relatively minimalist appreciation of structure, and so my paintings join my interest in line with a wet-on-wet painting technique.

and Millay Art Colonies and shows her work on the East coast.
